David Olsson

Product-led engineer and systems thinker designing platform-level software from prototype to production.

David Olsson (Sodanovels) is a product-led engineer and systems thinker who designs and ships platform-level software that moves work from prototype to production. As co-lead for AI, data infrastructure and advanced process control at Atomic 47 Labs, he focuses on secure edge-to-cloud architectures, hybrid digital-twin models and operator-friendly dashboards. He also helps shape persona-based AI products such as Worksona, favoring observability, safety and maintainability so teams can iterate with confidence.

Art for me is a way to give form to what matters — for family, friends and personal expression — and now I share that practice publicly. I write short fiction, sketch and experiment with small multimedia pieces that combine words, sound and code; these projects are intentionally small and repeatable so they stay alive alongside professional work. The creative practice informs product work by sharpening narrative clarity, pacing and the small humane design decisions that make technical systems feel thoughtful.

I live and work in Kelowna, a lakefront, community-minded place where work and life compete healthily for focus and opportunity. That rhythm — stretches of deep, product-focused work balanced by everyday chances for creativity and connection — makes Kelowna an excellent base for building practical, world-class technology with a collaborative regional energy. I'm always open to collaboration, demos and conversations about product, AI and creative work.
